Culturas Latinas in Via Via  BsAs

Het Via Via café in San Telmo, Buenos Aires, Argentinië  is niet enkel een bar, maar promoot sinds haar ontstaan de waarde, het patrimonium en de identiteit van de Latijns-Amerikaanse cultuur om zo een goed begrip tussen verschillende culturen te bevorderen. Via Via ondersteunt het “Programma van Communicatie tussen Culturen voor Diversiteit-www.culturaslatinas.com.ar” door een steentje bij te dragen in het verspreiden van kunst en de regionale identiteit.

Concreet wordt aan de volgende projecten gewerkt:

1. Culturele Bibliotheek: door de uitwisseling en de donatie van boeken zal een bibliotheek gevormd worden met informatie over musea, geschiedenis, literatuur, internationale en regionale gastronomie; publicaties over antropologie en archeologie van Zuid-Amerika.
2. Culturele seminaries over diverse thema’s: muziek, kunst, politiek, geschiedenis, gastronomie, antropologie en archeologie.
3. Uitstappen: Voor studenten en onderzoekers die bereid zijn een werkgroep te vormen, voor de uitwisseling van informatie en het verbeteren van de erkenning van de huidige Argentijnse toestand. Dit is gericht op studenten, onderzoekers en geïnteresseerden in het algemeen in toerisme op cultureel, sociaal en artistiek vlak.
4. Recreatieve werkgroep om plaastelijke technieken en het culturele erfgoed te leren kennen.
5. Debat over culturele en sociale thema’s voor geïnteresseerden in de geschiedenis van het Argentijns volk.
6. Exposities en tentoonstellingen van kunstenaars, fotografen en dansers. Zo wordt ook bijgedragen aan deze artiesten, die niet altijd veel mogelijkheden hebben om hun creaties te tonen.
7. Boekententoonstelling: we nodigen schrijvers uit zodat zij hun werk kunnen presenteren en persoonlijk de discussie kunnen aangaan.
8. Projectie van documentaires en videos, met eventueel bijhorend debat over de historische context.
9. Multimedia: er wordt beeldmateriaal verzameld dat toelaat om de Argentijnse cultuur op een andere manier te leren kennen.
10. Culturele publicaties: informatie wordt gestructureerd en er wordt gewerkt aan publicaties rond het Argentijnse patrimonium en de waardering van het werk van de oorspronkelijke bewoners.

The Via Via café in San Telmo, Buenos Aires, Argentina is not just a bar. Ever since its opening, it promotes the value, the patrimony and the identity of the Latin-American culture to improve a good understanding between different cultures. Via Via supports the “Program for Communication between Cultures for Diversity-www.culturaslatina.com.ar” by helping in the distribution of art en the regional identity.

To be precise, the following projects are in process:

1. Cultural library: Due to the exchange and donation of books, a library will be founded with information about musea, history, literature and international and regional gastronomy; publications concerning anthropology and archeology of South-America. 
2. Cultural seminars about diverse themes: music, art, politics, history, gastronomy, anthropology and archeology.
3. Trips: for students and researchers, ready to form a workgroup, to exchange information and to improve the recognition of the actual situation in Argentina. This is meant for students, researchers and people interested in tourism culturally, socially and artistically.
4. Creative workgroup to get to know local techniques and the cultural heritage.
5. Debate on cultural and social themes for people interested in the history of Argentina and its natives.
6. Expositions of artists, photographers and dancers. Hereby, you also contribute to these artists, who don’t always have the means to show their work.
7. Expositions of books: we invite writers to give them the opportunity to present their work and discuss sensitive themes.
8. Projection of documentaries and videos with a following debate about the historical background.
9. Multimedia: here we will collect images to get to know the Argentine culture in an alternative way.
10. Cultural publications: information will be structured and we will work on publications about the patrimony of Argentina, as well as the appreciation of the work by the natives.
